Things I read today that I found interesting and worthy of comment August 10th:

• Iwata Says Vitality Sensor to Launch “Not Too Late” in 2010 – Maybe this will be big in Japan, but this smells like the Gameboy headset thingamajig. Yeah it went over so well I can’t even remember the actual name.
• US Government Reviewing OpenID For Login on .Gov Sites – Interesting development, but definitely not something I want the government to establish. Cool, if like NIST, they set out some standards and establish a bit of lingo we can all use to define standards, but this should be something driven and overseen in the private sector.
