Welcome to my blog, regardless how you got here!  I mostly haunt the online world as Hahleq and have done so under this pseudonym since at least 1998.  I adopted this practice as I didn’t want to leave my personal information all over the place at the 100s of places I’ve been forced to register since the birth of the internet.  I wasn’t ever really trying to hide that Hahleq is actually Tim Renshaw, I was just trying to keep my email or snailmail box personally and professionally from being over-run with junk.

Obviously, I’ve been personally aware of the various online identity issues that we who lunge around the internet increasingly face.  My main personal and professional goal is to contribute to making this situation more manageable and eventually beneficial for all of us.
